Replaced an older model InSinkErator with this compact one and love it. I decided to purchase a new Power Cord instead of using the one of my old one an it was very easy to replace the cord. I also decided to replace the entire sink mounting. Since the one I was replacing was the same manufacture, i could have just used the old mounting bracket under the sink, BUT since this was a QUIET Sound Insulated model and part of the insulation was the black insert, I needed to replace the whole bracket. I did it myself but it would be a great help to have a 2nd person to help hole the Disposal while you attach it. I did run into another issue...Since I was replacing a regular size model with a Compact Model, the old PVC connectors did not line up and I had to buy some new ones and cut them to size. It took me a couple tries and trips to hardware store but finally got it working and love the quiet operation. I'd recommend this.

Leaked worse after using it and no resivoir wasn't overflowing went from a quarter size to 8 ozs. leak after 3 days
