I bought this to replace the HDD that comes with Lenovo Y40. I felt the machine was not as fast as I expected and decided to get this SSD. There were no reviews, but I thought I couldn't go wrong with this latest Samsung model.
I tried Australian Dream cream for my right thumb which has arthritis. It did not help at all, but being the eternal optimist, I kept using it and using it, hoping for an improvement, and after all, it's decent as just a hand cream. So now I am near the end of the jar and it's still not working, so I thought I'd take them up on their guarantee. Guess what, you have to send in your original receipt with the jar! If you are buying this product for the first time, I'd suggest you tape the receipt to the bottom so you will have it ready if it doesn't work for you either. (But I do hope it does work for you!)
I am sure this is an excellent problem if you can install it. I gave up after two hours and many calls to friends. Two different problems, neither of which were explained in the gnomic message, no help link to access, no information as to what to do. It looks great and I like the elimination of the disk intallation. But without some equivalent to an online mini-manual/guide and with no interactive menus. I felt like I did when I was shopping in China -- I could point and wave my hands but that's the limit of communication. At least in China, the good natured assistant tried nodding back and moving things around. This software was more like talking to the infamous dead wall. It's a shame. I want to use the software, tried bravely to do so, am probably missing something obvious, and I am confirmed in my old view of McAfee as just not very good.
A lot of sacrifice has gone into this book. So many trees cut down, so much ink, a little bit of graphic design, the work of an average portrait photographer. Unfortunately the result is what could only be described as the rantings of someone who seems semi-literate, below average intelligence, mean and quite frankly very tedious. To all those trees who sacrificed your life for this book, I apologise on behalf of the human race. You deserve so much better.
